Computer Classroom
This 16-station classroom with Internet access is utilized for a variety of courses, programs, and workshops. Located on the 3rd floor (room 304) of the College, the Classroom provides yet another learning resource which is available to students.
Computer Technology
The College recognizes that the use of information technology is a vital part of the learning process and integral to the academic programs offered at St. Vincent's College. Students have the opportunity to obtain and develop skills, which will support their entry into a variety of professions. Microcomputers with Internet access, computer assisted instruction and other specialized software programs are available to students in a variety of areas throughout the College. Although it is not a common practice of the College to do so, the College reserves the right to access, search, read, copy or otherwise use data and information stored on College computers, networks, and other electronic media without the consent of the creator or recipient. Individuals, who use these College systems, do not have a personal privacy right to any communications that are created, sent, received, or stored on network or standalone computers. Students are required to sign an Internet Workstation Acceptable Use Agreement before Internet access is permitted. Individuals who violate this policy will be subject to loss of computing privileges and appropriate disciplinary action, including legal action or criminal liability. Students have the responsibility to use all electronic media in a professional, ethical and lawful manner.
