Nursing Faculty Positions:
Openings exist for the Fall 2008 Semester
ADJUNCT CLINICAL FACULTY
Responsibilities include clinical supervision and evaluation of students. Clinical areas include: Fundamentals of Nursing and Advanced Medical-Surgical Nursing. Positions available include day, evening and Saturday.
Qualifications include a masters degree in nursing, experience in nursing practice with current clinical skills. Previous teaching experience desirable. Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the state of Connecticut.
NURSING SKILLS LABORATORY INSTRUCTOR
Responsibilities include teaching students the nursing skills and associated nursing concepts necessary for each nursing course. Ensures efficient organization of the Nursing Skills Laboratory.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Minimum of two years clinical experience in an acute care facility. Computer proficient. Current professional license in the State of Connecticut. Eligible for Instructor’s rank.

INSTRUCTOR DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL SONOGRAPHY
Responsibilities include teaching program courses and the coordination and evaluation of students' clinical experiences.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Credenitialed by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), with the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience with Sonography.
