DEVELOPMENT/ALUMNI RELATIONS ASSOCIATE
(Part Time 20 hours)

Responsible for the overall administrative functions of the College’s  Development and Alumni Relations office with primary emphasis on donor and event acknowledgements. Plans and executes special events and coordinates marketing and website communications.

Qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Communications, Marketing or a related field. Minimum of three to five years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.  Strong  verbal and written communication skills.  Good organization skills and the ability to multi-task.  Ability to think creatively, exercise independent judgment and work in a fast paced environment under time constraints. Experience in planning and implementing special events.  Excellent communications  and interpersonal skills.  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.  Working knowledge of  web site development.  Knowledge and skills in the use of Social Networking desired.

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER
(Part Time 20 hours)

The College invites applicatons for the part-time position (20 hours) of Instructional Designer responsible for providing proactive course development training and support to faculty. Will provide user training sessions and support to students. Other duties include: administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), development and review of end-of-course evaluations, act as Distance Learning Coordinator and liaison to LMS Technical Support, and any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications include demonstrated proficiency with Learning Management Systems and course development tools with desire to continously learn new features of software. Knowledge of instructional design theories/pedagogies and experience translating those theories into real-world course materials. Experience with Web 2.0 technologies and multimedia applications preferred. Experience in teaching, e-learning, and developing quality online academic courses for higher education preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in field or related field with relevant experience is required. MS in Instructional Design or Education preferred.
