This certificate program is offered completely online.  All 5 classes for the certificate are offered 100% online which means you can complete the certificate from anywhere.

Health promotion and wellness have become a major concern in today's managed care environment. Many Health Maintenance Organizations now encourage their subscribers to attend health clubs, wellness and nutrition centers. One's ability to motivate individuals and groups to improve and protect their health is of paramount importance.

To be an advocate of good health, you must attain the skills in a sound learning atmosphere. St. Vincent's College Health Promotion Certificate Program affords you the opportunity to learn those skills. Students in the certificate program will have the opportunity to learn risk reduction techniques that will be beneficial in helping oneself and others to maintain their wellness and promote good health.

Not only will you be eligible for a number of employment opportunities and/or increase your worth to your current employer, you will have expanded your educational base.  The credits earned through the St. Vincent's College Health Promotion Certificate Program may be transferable into select Associate and Baccalaureate Degree programs.
