This course is designed to assist the student to develop an understanding about illness and diseases that are frequently diagnosed or treated in ambulatory health care settings. A sequential approach, examining each body system is utilized. Emphasis is placed upon the description, etiology, signs and symptoms, diagnostic procedures, treatment, prognosis and preventive measures. |
