The goal of this course is to promote an overall awareness of the health care system and issues which impact the delivery of health care in the United States. Topics covered include managed care, HMOs, Medicare, Medicaid and the changing health care environment. Insurance coding, filing of claims and third party reimbursement are also examined. |
