This course is designed to provide the student with advanced concepts of radiation protection and biology. Radiographic pathology, cross-sectional anatomy, special procedures, diagnostic imaging modalities and quality assurance are also included. Radiographic procedure IV is included with study of Level IV competencies including pediatric techniques. A final comprehensive examination is given. Following classroom activities, students are scheduled for supervised clinical education. The student is assigned to clinical experience three days a week mastering Level IV competencies as well as reviewing all past level competencies. Emphasis is placed on specialty areas and procedures. |
