Readmission to the Nursing Program
Students seeking readmission to the nursing program must complete the admissions process though the Admissions Office. Students seeking readmission within twenty-four months of separation must meet the following requirements: meeting with the nursing faculty, clinical evaluations, two nursing faculty references, a cumulative grade point average of 3.00, and evidence of the applicant’s efforts to strengthen areas of weakness. Students requesting readmission who have been separated from the program for more than twenty-four months will be processed as new applicants. All previous general education course work will be evaluated based on the college’s admission requirements. Students must demonstrate competency in all successfully completed nursing courses taken within the past five years.
Readmitted students may register for their choice of day or evening courses on a space-available basis only. Readmitted students must follow the curriculum in place at the time of their return to the program.
