A matriculated student who wishes to take a leave of absence from the College for personal reasons is required to consult with the Program Chairperson and to submit the request in writing. A leave of absence is generally limited to a minimum of thirty (30) days or a maximum of one (1) year, and is only extended beyond this in unusual cases. If granted a leave of absence, the student will receive a letter from the Program Chairperson confirming the arrangements to which both parties have agreed. An extended plan of study may need to be submitted by the student in order to safeguard the student's ability to meet the required time period for completing the program. A matriculation fee will be charged on a semester basis for the duration of the leave.
