“I’ve been accepted to St. Vincent’s College – Now What?”
You have received an Acceptance Letter and information/forms for Background and Health Clearances. Use the checklist below as a guideline to make your transition to St. Vincent’s a smooth one!

Send in Final Official Transcripts. If you are currently in high school, you must have your guidance counselor send a final official transcript with date of graduation to the Admissions Office. If you are a transfer student, please make sure to request that all final official transcripts be sent to the Admissions Office.

For Degree Programs:  Meet with your Admissions Counselor to register for classes.  The Admissions Office is open between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.  Attend New Student Orientation in August (Fall term) or January (Spring term). For Continuing Education & Professional Studies Programs:   Meet with your Admissions Counselor to register for classes.  The Continuing Education & Professional Studies Office is open between 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.  Attend New Student Orientation in August (Fall term) or January (Spring term). Pay Tuition or Setup a Payment Plan:  Tuition must be paid in full prior to start of classes, or on a Payment Plan that completes within the term (options: 2-5 payments).  For details and information go to: http://www.stvincentscollege.edu/finances/student-accounts.  To contact Student Accounts call: (203) 576-5479 or email: StudentAccounts@stvincentscollege.edu.

Apply for Financial Aid. Students should submit a FAFSA prior to March 15 for the fall semester and November 15 for the spring semester, if they wish to be considered for financial aid. Students who have completed the process by these dates will receive an earlier aid decision. The FAFSA can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Complete a Health Clearance. You are required to be health cleared (includes a drug screen and proof of immunization) PRIOR to registering for classes. You will receive detailed instructions with your acceptance letter. Health clearances are scheduled and processed through St. Vincent’s Urgent Health Care Clinic, 401 Monroe Turnpike in Monroe by calling 203-337-3434.  The actual assessment may be completed either at this location, or any other St. Vincent’s Urgent Care Centers: Bridgeport, Trumbull, Stratford, Shelton or Fairfield. Prior to scheduling an appointment, you must have your primary care physician fill out the Student Health Services Student Immunization Requirements Form (click here). This COMPLETED/ SIGNED form must be brought with you at the time of your health assessment appointment at the Urgent Care Center. Background Clearance.  To ensure the safety of our students and staff, the College has engaged Evolution Consulting, LLC to perform background checks on all students.  You received a “Background Authorization Form” to sign, giving permission to complete the background clearance.  Return the signed form to the College, ATTN: Admissions Office.  You may fax to: 475-210-5318.  Remember you cannot register for classes until we have received the results of your background clearance. Obtain your Student ID Badge.  Have your picture taken for your Student ID Badge in the Office of Enrollment Services, ground floor of Hunting Street building.  You will receive an email through your student email account when your ID Badge is ready for pick up (may take 3-5 business days). You may pick up your ID Badge from Office of Enrollment Services, Reception Desk, ground floor of Hunting Street location or call 203-576-5513.

Purchase your Textbooks. Visit our online bookstore at www.svcbookstore.com to purchase your books. There is no bookstore at the College. All books are purchased online.
