Admitted Students

Congratulations on your admission to St. Vincent’s College! If you have already submitted your deposit and Enrollment Form, you have only a few more steps to take before becoming a St. Vincent’s College student.

Submit final official transcripts. If you are currently in high school, request that your guidance counselor submit a final official transcript that includes your date of graduation. If you have completed any college courses, request that all official transcripts be submitted. Transcripts should be emailed to svcadmissions@sacredheart.edu or mailed to St. Vincent’s College Office of Admissions, 2800 Main Street, Bridgeport, CT 06606.

Apply for financial aid. File your FAFSA as soon as possible to be considered for financial aid. Choose both St. Vincent’s College (006191) and Sacred Heart University (001403) to receive your FAFSA information. Contact Financial Assistance with questions: 203-576-5937 or finaid@stvincentscollege.edu.

Mark your calendar for New Student Orientation on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. Orientation is designed to introduce you to classmates and staff, familiarize you with St. Vincent’s College’s many resources, and guide you through class registration. You will receive details in early summer.

Complete a background check, drug screen, and health clearance before New Student Orientation. St. Vincent’s College partners with a vendor, CastleBranch, to manage this process. To begin, visit our CastleBranch student portal, and create an account using the unique pin that was provided in your Enrollment Confirmation letter. CastleBranch will notify us once you have completed the background check, drug screen, and health clearance.

Return the Student Health Form. To comply with Connecticut State Law regarding student immunizations, an additional copy of the Student Health Form completed for the health clearance must be uploaded to our Student Health Portal.

Set up your college email account. Visit our Account Management System and follow the instructions for New Users to Setup a New account. You will need your Student ID Number, which was provided in your Enrollment Confirmation letter. To check your email, visit the Sacred Heart University website and click on the mySHU button located in the top right corner of the page.

Pay tuition or set up a payment plan. Tuition must be paid in full before classes begin, or a payment plan can be set up for the term. Contact Student Accounts for payment options: 203-576-5479 or studentaccounts@stvincentscollege.edu.

Request student disability support. If you will require learning accommodations during the academic year, please contact Student Affairs: 475-210-6411 or studentaffairs@stvincentscollege.edu.

Prepare for the first day of classes. Classes begin on Monday, August 27, 2018. You will register for classes during New Student Orientation.

If you have other questions, please contact the Admissions Office: 203-576-5513 or admissions@stvincentscollege.edu. We look forward to welcoming you to St. Vincent’s College!
