	Admission Requirements

	Evidence of graduation from an approved secondary school or completion of a GED with a minimum standard score of "450" for each test. Minimum high school course requirements: English - 4 years Math - 2 years (including 1 year of Algebra and 1 year of Geometry or 2 years of Algebra) Science - 2 years of laboratory sciences (Biology & Chemistry with a "C+" or better) within the past five years.) Social Studies - 2 years Electives to total 16 units Official results of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) of the College Board. St. Vincent's College's code number is 3789, or official results of the ACT. St. Vincent's College Code number is 0592. Applicants should be in the upper half of their high school class. High school applicants must submit a reference from their school counselor. Transfer students (those currently attending college) must submit one academic reference. All other applicants must submit one professional reference. Applicants who have been out of high school longer than 3 years, and not presently attending college, must submit a resume. Please refer to program descriptions for additional admission requirements. Please be aware that the deadline for Nursing applications for the fall semester is May 1st. All other degree programs, the deadline is July 1st.
