Refunds are based on St. Vincent's College Policy and The Return of Unearned Title IV Funds as required by the U.S. Department of Education. A new student who has rendered the Acceptance Deposit and then withdraws from the College prior to the commencement of the first day of classes for the semester will forfeit the enrollment deposit of $150.00.
Institutional Refund Policy
A new student who completes registration, has paid in full for all prescribed fees and tuition for the semester, and withdraws from the College within the first five weeks of the semester, or less (according to course length) will forfeit an administrative fee of $100.00 before refund percentage calculations are begun. A new student who completes registration, has not paid in full for all prescribed fees and tuition for the semester, and withdraws from the College within the first five weeks of the semester, or less (according to course length), will be charged a $100 administrative fee before refund percentage calculations are begun.
Refund Policies After the Start of the First Day of Class for the Semester
Students who effect a complete withdrawal from the College, regardless of the reason, will be granted a pro-rata refund of tuition only. All student fee charges, late fees, and course fees are non-refundable. Refunds are granted only if the student complies with the withdrawal procedures outlined in the Student Handbook. Refunds are calculated according to course length in accordance with the following protocol:

Financial aid recipients withdrawing from the College within 60% of the completion of a semester may be entitled to a partial refund of semester charges based on federal formula. Refunds resulting from a change in program or financial aid must be verified by the Bursar’s Office before adjustments will be made.
Withdrawal from any course must be done in person. An ADD/DROP Form can be obtained at the first floor reception desk. The form must be completed by the student, signed by the faculty advisor, and returned to the Registrar's Office.
Refunds take at least two weeks to process.
