Students planning to transfer to St. Vincent's College will follow the same admission procedures as other incoming students. Click here to Apply Online to the College.
Transfer of course credits only (grades are not transferrable) will be granted subject to the following conditions:
- The course content must be equivalent to the course requirement of the program in which the student enrolls.
- Official transcript(s) with a grade of at least C+ for science courses, math and English Composition recorded for the course(s) to be transferred, must be sent to the Admissions Office.
- All science courses required for the major must have been completed within five years of acceptance to the College.
- Credit for laboratory sciences will not be transferred until a competency examination is successfully completed at St. Vincent's College. A fee of $10.00 is required for each competency examination in the sciences. These tests cannot be repeated. Anatomy and Physiology I and II must be taken at the same institution, with earned grades of a least a "C+" in order to take the competency exam.
- General Education courses must have been completed within 15 years of acceptance to the College (except for math which will remain at 10 years). Students who took English Composition more than 15 years ago may request a waiver by passing a CPT exemption examination.
- Transfer students must meet the College's published application deadlines for spring and fall.
