All students are required to carry health insurance. Students will automatically be enrolled in the college health insurance plan offered through Gallagher-Koster unless the individual student presents evidence of adequate health insurance coverage and receives a waiver from Gallagher-Koster. The health insurance fee will be posted to each student’s account until a waiver has been issued. Students beginning course work in January will have a pro-rated charge posted to their accounts.
St. Vincent’s College does not assume responsibility for the cost of hospital care or specialized diagnostic examinations or treatments. The student is financially responsible for the cost of prescriptions, treatments, or diagnostic procedures not considered part of the health program.
Apart from the provisions made to safeguard the health of the students, the College assumes no responsibility for physical defects or other conditions present on admission, or for injuries occurring off the College premises.
Students can waive participation or enroll directly through the College’s dedicated vendor website, www.gallagherkoster.com/stvincent. If you have questions about the Student Accident and Sickness Insurance Plan, please contact Gallagher Koster at 617-770-9889 or 1-877-320-4347.
