Important Message from the President’s Office on Orientation

Dear Scholars,

Welcome to the St. Vincent’s College community! We are delighted to have you in our family. St. Vincent’s is a remarkable place that has been enrolling and graduating students since 1905. You join a select group of students whose academic promise and accomplishments qualify to engage in the dynamic and challenging life for an aspiring healthcare professional.

As one of the best healthcare colleges in Connecticut, we deliver the resources and commitment that will capture you in a life of total engagement in class, in clinical, and in the laboratory.

Over the next few years, I am eager to watch the ways we develop together, because like students, Colleges are not static things. We explore new ways to educate and get educated. At St. Vincent’s, we try hard to do that as partners. It’s an unbeatable combination.

So, let’s get started! The purpose of this communication is to provide advance notice that New Student Orientation for radiography and students enrolling in the College certificate programs will be held on August 23.

St. Vincent’s will also host a nursing orientation for continuing and new students who enroll in NUR 101 for the fall term. New students enrolling in NUR 101 will attend orientation on August 23. Continuing students enrolling in NUR 101 will be pre-assigned an Orientation session for either August 22 or 23.

Students enrolling in St. Vincent’s Pre-Nursing Program will have Orientation on August 23.

On Monday, July 31, all students will receive communication on how to advance register for your academic specific program Orientation session.

In the meantime, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at michael.gargano@stvincentscollege.edu.

We welcome you with enthusiasm and with the high confidence that your accomplishments and promise inspire.

Sincerely,

Michael Gargano

President
