St. Vincent’s Medical Center provides a wealth of clinical experience for the student. The Medical Center is a 473-bed community teaching and referral hospital with a Level II trauma center and a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport. Based on their majors, students receive experience in Medical-Surgical, Maternal-Child, Ambulatory, Radiography and Cardiovascular departments.

In addition to St. Vincent’s Medical Center, clinical internship and precepted practicuum experiences are provided in selected regional hospitals, healthcare agencies, physician’s offices and ambulatory settings.
