| Course Description: | Designed to provide the student with a continuation of image production and evaluation, equipment operation and quality control, to include image receptors and image processing and patient care and education, with an emphasis on medical emergencies and pediatric patients. Radiographic procedures with an emphasis on lecture-lab study of Level II competencies are included. Following classroom/lab activities, students are scheduled for supervised clinical education. The student is assigned to clinical experience two days a week mastering Level II competencies, including pediatric techniques. An introduction to the operating room is included. |
